Dearest Friends,
I'm writing to let you know that in a moment of sheer insanity, I've decided to take a sixty five mile ride upstate this summer. Why, you ask?? Has she lost her mind?? Heatstroke? What on earth would posess me to do this to myself?? My incredible and remarkable mother. That's who.
My mama bear, the rock in my life, has been my support in all things. She has seen me through thick and thin. Held my hand at every important point in my life to guide me on the right path. I try every day to walk in her shoes. And man o man, that is QUITE the goal, let me tell you!!!!!
She continues to inspire every member in my family in all that we do, even while privately battling her own struggles with autoimmune diseases. I figured that if my mom can be the rockstar that she is every day, I can do this small thing in her honor, and help the children of Chai Lifeline. While I could go on for hours about the benefits that Chai Lifeline provides, the brilliance of Camp Simcha and it would take me over a year just to list the lives that they've changed, I'll spare you all of that and simply ask for your partnership in what will probably be the craziest thing I've ever done, and one of the most worthwhile.
