Where do I begin (and try to keep it short but animated so I keep your attention)? I met Meir four years ago and ever since my life has changed FOR THE BETTER. "Meir" means "bringer of light" and boy! does he live up to his name. He lights up each and every person he encounters, including mine. There is truly something words cannot describe when you are but an ordinary person in this world and along comes this extraordinary soul and life just becomes different. But in the most AMAZING way. The pure joy and love he personifies. The strength and perseverance he exudes. That smile and giggle. It is for these reasons that I am dedicating this year's ride, my seventh year completing Tour de Simcha, Gd Willing, in his honor. Meir, My Man, this is for you- love ya to the moon and back xoxo!
Meir, may you continue to bring beautiful Nachas (pride) to your wonderful, doting, and devoted parents and family, may you continue to have only happy and healthy years Ad Meah V'Esrim Shana (120 years), and may you continue "lighting up" the lives of everyone you encounter. We cannot wait to see all the brilliant and amazing things you will accomplish and become.
Every mile I ride and every dollar I raise will help support more than two-dozen essential programs for more than 5,900 children and families confronting pediatric illness, crisis, and loss. While the world stopped during this pandemic, Chai Lifeline hasn't. They continue to tirelessly provide critical services to families with serious pediatric illness. Thank you for supporting me and, in doing so, helping children and their families cope with the diagnosis, treatment, and aftermath of serious pediatric illness.
All the best and LET'S DO THIS!!!
