This summer, I am excited to once again take part in Tour de Simcha, an exhilarating 65 mile cycling event benefiting the children and families of Chai Lifeline. The hills are challenging, but nothing compares to the challenges for Chai Lifeline children and their families. Every mile I ride and every dollar I raise will help support more than two-dozen essential programs for children and families confronting pediatric illness.

Life for a child with cancer, disability, or other serious illness is not easy. From the moment of diagnosis, Chai Lifeline’s dedicated staff and volunteers are there to provide joy, hope, and unparalleled care throughout the turbulent medical journey. If you know anyone who has benefitted from Chai Lifeline or Camp Simcha, you know that nothing compares to the amount of support that is given to the children, and how it changes their lives from focusing on being sick, to focusing on fun, games, and hope for a healthy future.

P.S. This year I am riding in memory of my Aunt Zelda Itzkowitz. Anyone who knew her can tell you that she was a one-woman chesed organization. There wasnt anything she wouldnt do for others, and she was always looking for the next mitzvah, to help the next person in need.
She had a bike gemach in her garage. She always collected used bikes, and fixed them up for the children in the neighborhood:)
It is an honor to bike in her memory.
May her Neshamah have an Aliyah!
